Basic Training Course in Structural Integration - in ItalianThe first basic training in Structural Integration of the Guild Europe in Italian language will start in March 2019. The training will be carried out in monthly modules of three days each for a total duration of two years.I studied the Rolf method of Structural Integration with Emmett Hutchins at the Guild for Structural Integration and in 2011 I became an operator. This year I had the opportunity to participate in one of the last weekends of the organized modular course of the European Guild and I was able to appreciate the effects of a modular teaching format distributed over two years. They are professionals who are already working and bringing structural integration into the world ... and they already do so at a very high level. Dario di LorenzoDescription of the courseThe heart of the Guild Europa training program are the principles and the techniques contained in the basic series of the 10 sessions of Structural Integration as they were conceived by Ida Rolf, without additions or modifications deriving from other modalities. The training takes place in modules lasting 20 long weekends and has the following three phases:Phase 1 - 6 long weekends for a total of 152 h in the classroomSkeletal and myofascial anatomyBiomechanics and Structural IntegrationPhysiology and biochemistry of the fasciaAnalysis and interpretation of human structure and movement in order to conceive coherent strategies for manipulative interventions that can improve the structureHow to behave in a therapeutic relationshipExercises to be taken to care for themselves in order to become a competent IS operatorAnatomy and theory of 10 basic sessionsPhase 2 - 6 long weekends for a total of 152 h in the classroomPractice of the 10 Basic sessions during which the trainee students exchange the work between themPhase 3 - 8 long weekends for a total of 202 h in the classroomAt this stage, under supervision, each trainee student practices 10 base sessions on 3 external modelsStudy at homeIn addition to this, students should consider at least 500 hours between home study and practice.TeachersThe course will be held by Fulvio Faudella who will be assisted by Dario Di Lorenzo. RolfIn this workshop we explore the effect of oral, nasal and jaw tensions on the postural organization of the head and neck, as well as on whole-body balance, integration and coordination.Topics include:• The influence of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) on the posture of the head.• The influence of tongue and upper palate on breathing• The effect of breathing patterns on facial structure, head posture and on core support for the spine.Participants will gain:• Improved embodiment of Upper Pole organization• Better understanding of the purpose of the 7th Hour.• Body reading refinement.• Movement and sensory awareness templates for client education.

Diaphragms and The Central LineIn this workshop, we look at how the horizontal diaphragms affect the support, continuity and adaptability of the body’s central line. We focus our journey on the relationship between the oral cavity and respiratory diaphragm, with excursions into the thoracic outlet, feet and pelvis.• Increased embodiment of diaphragm integration.• Deepened awareness of the potency of Rolf’s 7th hour.• Body reading certainty.• Movement and sensory awareness templates for client education.

Pod povrchovou vrstvou se v oblasti krku nachází tři hlavní vrstvy fascií:- první vrstva, kterou tvoří trapezius a strernocleidomastoideus,- první hluboká vrstva fascií na přední straně páteře, která obsahuje ostatní svaly krku a svaly kolem krčních obratlů,- hlubší vrstvy fascií, které se nachází před dýchací trubicí (scaleni, svaly jazylky).Na základě poznatků z Anatomického atlasu fascií profesorky Carly Stecco budeme zkoumat, jak tyto vrstvy pokračují dále do těla a jaký význam mohou mít pro deset sezení Strukturální Integrace.Underneath the superfiscial fascia there are three main fascial layers in the neck- the investing layer of the trapezius and SCM- the prevertebral lamina of deep fascia containing all other neck muscles around the vertebrae- the pretracheal laminae of deep fascia containing neck muscles in front of the trachea (scalene, hyoid muscles)Using Prof. Carla Stecco\'s Fascial Anatomy Atlas we will investigate how these layers travel further down the body and look at the implications these findings may have for the Basic 10 Series.

Le prime tre ore nelle quali le “vele dello sleeve” cominciano a prendere il “vento del core” per navigare nell’oceano della coscienza.Three days to explore the first three hours of the “journey that has a heart”, the Recipe by Dr. Rolf. Breath into the back, into the foot that meets the ground like a snowflake descending from the sky, into the space just behind the viscera. We will see the pelvis begin to open to movement to accommodate the Vertical Line, that field in which gravity sows lightness. The first three hours in which the sails of the sleeve begin to take the wind of the core to navigate the ocean of consciousness.

Instructor: Neil Powers. Neal Powers received his Basic and Advanced Training with Dr. Ida Rolf beginning in 1971 at Esalen in Big Sur. He became a member of the Rolf Institute’s teaching faculty in 1980 and was subsequently the Rolf Institute’s President for six years. He is an Honorary Life Member of the Rolf Institute. In 1990 Neal along with Emmett Hutchins, Peter Melchior, Stacey Mills, and David Davis founded the Guild for Structural Integration dedicated to the traditional teachings of Dr. Ida Rolf. Neal continues to teach for schools recognized by IASI. He currently is teaching workshops and Advanced Trainings for the European Guild for Structural Integration (EGSI) and the Japanese Institute of Structural Integration (JISI).
